Collaboration and STEM Activities

This past week we have been doing some really fun, hands-on activities that helped us learn about working together. These activities are also based on science, technology, engineering and mathematical practices! 

One of the first activities we did was the "Army Men Launcher". Students were given various materials to build a contraption that could launch an army figurine the farthest. Students did a great job working as a team! And one army man was even launched 15 feet, not to mention another that soared high up into the air. Students may even want to have another "army man" challenge at home!
