Students were told that Fred (a gummy worm) needed to be saved because his boat (a cup) had been capsized. Students needed to put a life jacket (gummy life-saver) on Fred and flip his boat upright.... The truck however was students were not allowed to touch any of the materials with their hands. Students were given paper clips to complete their task.
Everyone saved Fred, learned that what they think is impossible may not be, and learned to work together to solve a problem!
